What I Believe - Basic This is looking at the Bible (which is the Book of Life) as a history book,  and it is the absolute most credible history book known to man. History is not faith. History is foundational to faith.  History is just the facts, things that really happened and has been documented.  Our faith is based on history.  Oh, you think not?  “... if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins...”  “But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.” ~ 1 Cor 15:17, 20 This is the history that validates our faith, that Jesus Christ did indeed raise from the dead over 2000 years ago. It’s very simple... History is the foundation.  Incorrect history = incorrect theology.  **Just  to clarify, because some maybe confused.... the Bible is not JUST a history book.... it is the absolute Word of God! But the precious history inside, too many times, is ignored....
